The Truth About Spiritual Awakening: A Journey of Rebirth, Isolation, and Higher Consciousness

What Does It Really Mean to Be Spiritually Awakened? Spiritual awakening is often misunderstood. Some think it’s about joining a religion, meditating under a tree, or living like a monk in the mountains. But let me tell you—it's none of that. Spiritual awakening is a process of waking up from the illusion of the world. It’s like shedding an old skin, a rebirth into a new self, seeing life through fresh eyes as if you were just born. When you awaken, everything you once believed in starts to crumble. The labels, the expectations, the need for validation—they all become meaningless. You begin to question everything, including yourself. Who am I? Why am I here? What is the purpose of all this? And most importantly, why does the world seem so... absurd? My Personal Awakening Story For me, awakening wasn’t gentle—it was a storm. I remember the exact moment everything shifted. It was after a painful heartbreak, followed by losing my job and realizing that the people I trusted the most we...

Why You Should Never Take Judgment Personally: The Science, Spirituality, and Psychology Behind It

A person calmly standing with a glowing aura, unaffected by outside judgment.

We’ve all been there. Someone says something harsh, gives a disapproving look, or judges us unfairly. Instantly, emotions rise—hurt, anger, defensiveness. But what if I told you that judgment has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the person judging? Once you understand this, you will realize how unnecessary it is to let others’ words or opinions affect you. Let’s break this down from both a scientific and spiritual perspective.

What is Judgment?

Judgment is simply an opinion shaped by a person’s experiences, conditioning, and beliefs. When someone judges you, they are not speaking an absolute truth. They are expressing their personal reality—the lens through which they see the world. This lens is formed over years of experiences, especially childhood conditioning, which deeply embeds beliefs into their subconscious.

The Science Behind Judgment

From a psychological standpoint, our brains are wired to categorize and judge as a survival mechanism. This is a cognitive shortcut known as heuristics. It helps us make quick decisions, but it also leads to biases. For example, if someone was raised in an environment where certain behaviors were seen as disrespectful, they might unconsciously judge others based on that belief.

Example: Anna’s Story

Anna feels frustrated every time her husband or children leave their socks on the floor. To her, it feels like disrespect. But where is this reaction really coming from? Unconsciously, her brain has linked this behavior to something from her past. When she was a child, her parents would get angry if she left her socks on the floor. The emotion of fear or shame became embedded in her subconscious. Now, as an adult, her immediate reaction is anger, even though her family isn’t actually trying to disrespect her.

This is how judgment works—it’s rarely about the present moment and more about the past programming running in someone’s subconscious.

Spiritual Wisdom: The World is a Mirror

In spirituality, it is believed that the world is merely a reflection of your inner beliefs. When someone judges you, they are projecting their own insecurities, fears, or limitations onto you. Their reaction is a mirror of their inner world, not a statement of your worth.

For example, if someone constantly criticizes your choices, it often means they are insecure about their own decisions. A confident person has no need to put others down. They would either support you or remain neutral.

Why You Shouldn’t React or Take It Personally

Now that you understand judgment is a reflection of the person giving it, you can free yourself from its emotional burden. Here’s why:

  1. Everyone Sees the World Differently – No two people have the same experiences, beliefs, or conditioning. Someone’s opinion of you is shaped by their past, not by reality.

  2. You Have Infinite Wisdom Within You – You are already equipped with the intuition and intelligence to know what’s right for you. Why let someone else’s perception dictate your path?

  3. Judgment is Just Noise – At the end of the day, words are just sounds. They only hold power if you let them. If something someone says makes you feel bad, ask yourself: Is this even true? Or is this just their belief?

How to Free Yourself from Judgment

If you struggle with taking judgment personally, here’s how you can shift your mindset:

  1. Self-Reflection: Start paying attention to how you react to certain judgments. Are they triggering a past wound?

  2. Write Down Your Limiting Beliefs: What beliefs were instilled in you as a child? Are they even true? Or were they just someone else’s fears passed onto you?

  3. Ask Yourself: Is This Opinion Valuable? Not all opinions matter. If someone who doesn’t live your life or understand your journey judges you, why should their words carry weight?

  4. Protect Your Energy: If people around you constantly make you feel low, it may be time to create some distance. You don’t need to engage in environments that drain your energy.

  5. Know Yourself Deeply: The more you understand yourself, the less external validation you’ll need. If you need help discovering your inner self, check out this Free Numerology Reading: Numerology Free

Surround Yourself with the Right People

If someone constantly judges you, it might not be a sign to change yourself but to change your circle. Life is too short to be around people who bring you down. Seek friends and communities that uplift and support you.

Final Thoughts: You Are Your Own Power

At the end of the day, you are the only one who truly knows yourself. No one else walks in your shoes, understands your struggles, or sees the world through your eyes. Their judgment is just a passing breeze—it means nothing unless you let it in.
