The Truth About Spiritual Awakening: A Journey of Rebirth, Isolation, and Higher Consciousness

What Does It Really Mean to Be Spiritually Awakened? Spiritual awakening is often misunderstood. Some think it’s about joining a religion, meditating under a tree, or living like a monk in the mountains. But let me tell you—it's none of that. Spiritual awakening is a process of waking up from the illusion of the world. It’s like shedding an old skin, a rebirth into a new self, seeing life through fresh eyes as if you were just born. When you awaken, everything you once believed in starts to crumble. The labels, the expectations, the need for validation—they all become meaningless. You begin to question everything, including yourself. Who am I? Why am I here? What is the purpose of all this? And most importantly, why does the world seem so... absurd? My Personal Awakening Story For me, awakening wasn’t gentle—it was a storm. I remember the exact moment everything shifted. It was after a painful heartbreak, followed by losing my job and realizing that the people I trusted the most we...

The Role of Failure in Success: How Struggles Shape a Stronger Mindset

The Brain’s Response to Struggles: Unlocking Potential

Let’s be real—failure sucks. It’s painful, frustrating, and sometimes makes you feel like giving up. But what if I told you that failure isn’t a curse? What if I told you that every challenge you face is actually rewiring your brain, making you stronger, sharper, and more resilient?

Think about it. The most successful people—Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Henry Ford, Walt Disney, Steve Jobs, and Colonel Sanders—failed, and not just once. They faced rejection, loss, and doubt, but instead of giving up, they used those failures as stepping stones. And science backs this up: your brain literally grows when you struggle and learn from mistakes.

Why Struggles Make You Smarter and Stronger

1. Your Brain is Always Adapting

Your brain has something called neuroplasticity, which means it can rewire itself based on your experiences. When you fail, your brain doesn’t just give up—it adapts. It creates new connections and strengthens old ones, making you better at handling future challenges. The Brain That Changes Itself by Norman Doidge explains this beautifully: your brain is never fixed; it’s constantly evolving.

2. Failure Builds Mental Toughness

When things don’t go as planned, your prefrontal cortex—the part of your brain responsible for decision-making and self-control—goes into overdrive. At first, stress can cloud your thinking. But over time, pushing through difficulties actually strengthens this part of your brain, making you more resilient. Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman dives deep into how our brains process decisions, and why facing setbacks makes us sharper thinkers.

3. Struggles Teach You What Success Never Can

When you experience failure, your brain’s dopamine levels drop, which can make you feel unmotivated. But here’s the twist—when you push through, your brain starts associating struggle with eventual success. This is why resilience and persistence are key. Angela Duckworth’s Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance shows that success isn’t about being the smartest or the most talented—it’s about refusing to give up.

4. Hard Times Can Lead to Massive Growth

Ever heard of post-traumatic growth? It’s the idea that people who go through hardship often come out stronger, wiser, and more appreciative of life. Instead of breaking you, adversity can transform you. The Obstacle Is the Way by Ryan Holiday explains how struggle isn’t something to avoid—it’s the very thing that leads to success.

The Greatest Minds Who Overcame Failure

Every setback you experience is a lesson in disguise. The most successful people in the world didn’t get there because life was easy—they got there because they refused to quit.

  • Thomas Edison failed over 1,000 times before successfully inventing the light bulb. When asked about his failures, he famously said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 1,000 ways that won’t work.”

  • Albert Einstein was considered a slow learner as a child and struggled in school. Later, he spent nine years struggling to find a job in academia, working low-paying jobs and even being fired before finally securing a role that allowed him to develop his groundbreaking theories.

  • Isaac Newton was a terrible student and failed miserably at running his family farm. His failures led him to pursue science, where he later developed the laws of motion and gravity.

  • Henry Ford failed at multiple business ventures before successfully founding Ford Motor Company, revolutionizing the automobile industry.

  • Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper for “lacking creativity” and had multiple failed businesses before creating Disney, now one of the most successful entertainment companies in history.

  • Steve Jobs was fired from Apple—the very company he co-founded. But he didn’t let it stop him. He returned years later and transformed Apple into one of the most successful companies in the world.

  • Colonel Sanders had his fried chicken recipe rejected over 1,000 times before finally finding a business that would take it. Today, KFC is a global brand known everywhere.

Success isn’t about never failing. It’s about learning, adapting, and growing. When things go wrong, ask yourself: What can I learn from this? How can I come back stronger? Because every challenge you face is shaping you into the person you’re meant to be.

Failure is Just an Illusion

Failure sucks, and I know in social media it doesn’t show. Most of the time, we only see the outcome—the success stories, the milestones, the victories. But have you ever questioned whether those successful people got there on their first try? The truth is, they didn’t. They failed, adapted, and kept moving forward.

We need to change how we see failure. Life has no manual; we’re all just testing things out. Personally, I don’t believe in failure—it’s just experiences. It’s up to us whether we label it as failure or growth. If you’ve read my other blogs, you know how often I mention that our brain creates perceptions, and every single one of us sees life differently.

You don’t have to listen to people who criticize you—especially those who haven’t achieved anything themselves. Why make them the captain of your life? Even legendary figures like Einstein and Newton weren’t exempt from struggle. Rich or poor, we all go through challenges. Many people think they’re being punished when they struggle, but I’m here to tell you—you’re not. Your struggles might actually be life calling you to grow.
